Have scientists discovered reversible evolution? | Science Recorder
I'm not a scientist, so I am wondering what I'm missing here. How exactly is this reverse evolution? It's not taking away anything that happened before, simply adding another layer. If they evolved into parasites because it was advantageous at the time, how come they could not continue to evolve and end up becoming a free-living organism again when that path was advantageous?
